Naitasiri is in good form for the Skipper Cup season

Naitasiri’s Uraia Torau is one to look out for this weekend as his team faces Nadi in Round 2 of the Skipper Cup competition.

The outside center scored a double for Naitasiri as they defeated hosts Macuata 29-25 at Subrail Park last Saturday.

It was a tough battle between the two rivals as shown in the very close score margin.

Naitasiri will try for another win this weekend as they face defending champions Nadi.

Some familiar names that are in the Naitasiri squad this season are Jone Naqiri, Jone Navuso, Vatiliai Vosawale and Etonia Rokotuisawa returning to provide experience.

Meanwhile, Nadi defeated Yasawa 40-17 putting out a clear message as they come to defend the title this season.

Another exciting encounter to watch tomorrow is the match between newly promoted Yasawa and Suva. Yasawa lost to Nadi last weekend and will try and revive themselves against another tough opponent.

Yasawa will face Suva at 5pm tomorrow after the Under-20 match at 3pm.

Namosi will battle Nadroga at Thompson Park and Tailevu will battle Macuata at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.

All senior matches begin at 3pm while the Under-20 games kick off at 1pm.
