Male rings in changes as star winger returns to boost Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua

2022 Super W player of the final, Vitalina Naikore returns to the match-day squad as Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua prepares to face Melbourne Rebels on Saturday.

Including Naikore, Head Coach Inoke Male has made two changes and a few positional movements in his run on the team.

Captain Bitila Tawake moves at Loosehead Prop while Litia Marama comes in at Hooker. Ana Korovata remains at Tightprop Prop.

In the second row, Doreen Narokete moves to Locks position and will have the opportunity to call the line out alongside Jade Coates. Asinate Serevi moves to the bench while Nunia Uluikadavu starts as a flanker with Sulita Waisega. Karalaini Naisewa remains at number 8.

In the backs, the only change is Naikore, who starts at left wing while Milinia Adita moves to right replacing Laisani Moceisawana who is out of the 23-member squad.

Male has also named a powerful bench consisting of Joma Rubuti, Siteri Rasolea and Asinate Serevi in the forwards while Livia Nadei and Wainikiti Vosadrau are expected to make their debut off the bench in the backline.

Male said despite the win last week there were a few areas they needed to polish before the match on Saturday.

Male said we need a high concentration level throughout the match, which is why the players in the reserves are expected to provide a powerful performance in the second half.

He added “As long as we stick to the game plan, we will be able to conquer the Rebels”

The Fijiana Drua hosts Melbourne Rebels at 1:05pm on Saturday.
