The Fiji Rugby Union and Bula Management Group & Productions are thrilled to unveil an unprecedented partnership.
This collaboration is the television of a docuseries titled “The Flying Sevens,” which will showcase the journey of the Fiji Rugby 7’s Team as they embark on their quest to defend the Olympic gold medal.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the trustees of the Fiji Rugby Football Union Trust Board, FRU Administrator Simione Valenitabua, General Manager of HighPerformance B-J Mather, Honorable Prime Minister Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka, and most importantly the players and the people of Fiji.
Their unwavering support and commitment have been pivotal in shaping this partnership, one that promises to elevate Fiji Rugby to unprecedented heights.
The launch of this upcoming television series is set to open the floodgates to an influx of American dollars, sponsorships, tourism, and business opportunities into Fiji.

Fiji Rugby Interim Administrator, Simione Valenitabua, said this is an exciting project that will help boost interest in the sport to a global audience with the potential of gaining new rugby communities in countries that have a huge fan base in other sports.
He shared: “The inclusion of rugby sevens to the Summer Olympics and the back-to-back Gold medal wins by our Men’s Fiji 7s team and Bronze medal win by our Women’s Fiji 7s team has set the bar for our future aspiring Olympians in Fiji but also prospect athletes that now have a dream to play for their national team at these games.”
