Fuli Unveils Strong Squad for Perth 7s, Welcoming Back Adinaimata, Bari, and Qoro

Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s Coach Saiasi Fuli has named a strong squad for the upcoming Perth 7s next weekend.

Elenoa Adinaimata and Verenaisi Bari make a return to the series, as well as winger Meredani Qoro.

Head Coach Saiasi Fuli said Adinaimata and Bari had proven themselves during training, both on and off the field.

“We are happy to have both of them back into the squad for the series.

They both played at the Pacific Games and did well, so they have earned a spot in the team as well,” Fuli said.

Also making a significant return is winger Meredani Qoro.

“Qoro is back; she is one of our best wingers, and it’s good to see her back in action, also at the Coral Coast 7s.

“The inclusion of Adinaimata, Bari, and Qoro injects new energy and depth into the team,” added Fuli.

Fuli has maintained his set of core players: Reijeli Daveua, Aloesi Nakoci, Lavena Cavuru, Reapi Ulunisau, Ana Maria Naimasi, Younis Bese, Talei Wilson, and Viniana Riwai.

“The Perth leg is crucial for us in terms of building the right combination for the Olympic Games, as we are now in the Olympic year,” Fuli said.

Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s is in Pool C with New Zealand, France, and Samoa.

The Perth 7s will be held from the 26th to 28th of January.
